Senior Full Stack Engineer

Perm- Hybrid (Newcastle upon Tyne)

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain dynamic websites and applications. You will work across front-end and back-end development, mentor engineers, and help deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using C#.NET, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Contribute to infrastructure, cloud, and IaC solutions.
• Implement MACH design patterns and set up new projects.
• Oversee deployments, review code, and mentor team members.
• Support agile ceremonies, user story writing, and client-facing sessions.
• Provide solutions for technical challenges and production issues.

Requirements

• BPSS clearance (or eligibility).
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS (SASS), JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Back-end experience with C#/.NET or Node/Express.
• Knowledge of modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
• Experience with relational/NoSQL databases and Git.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Umbraco, Sitecore).
• Understanding of web standards, accessibility (AA), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience in agile environments with tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
