We are looking for a very experienced SAP integration consultant to join our SAP technical services team. The SAP integration consultant is responsible for delivering integration services that maintain and improve the reliability, availability and performance of integration of Dunelm’s SAP systems via SAP PO and/or BTP.
The SAP integration consultant will be responsible for delivering secured solutions allowing users to fulfil their everyday tasks whilst ensuring the company’s SAP systems are protected and compliant.
You’ll be working closely with a collaborative team including other SAP functional and technical consultants, architects, the security & compliance team, the service desk, and Tech and business colleagues.

What you’ll be doing
Design and implement best practice development solutions appropriate to business requirements and standards
Undertake and/or oversee SAP integration for SAP implementations, upgrades and migrations of interfaces from SAP PO to BTP
Collaborate with the internal SAP tech services team, Tech and Digital teams, SAP partners and other business stakeholders for the delivery of SAP development initiatives, support, bug fixing and maintenance activities ensuring all SLAs for system reliability, availability and performance (NFR) are achieved
Undertake and/or oversee the identification of root causes of any integration issues that impact the business processes and lead the implementation of improvements as required
Undertake and/or oversee SAP integration performance improvements, including monitoring and custom code life cycle
What you’ll bring
Excellent technical & functional knowledge of SAP PO (ABAP & Java) and working knowledge of BTP (e.g. using cloud connectors, Groovy scripts, Migration Assistant and API Management)
Extensive experience in delivering complex SAP integration solutions for on-premises and hybrid cloud scenarios using various integration protocols, adapters and formats, for example:
file adapter (standard + content conversion), HTTP, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST, PROXY, RFC, IDOC, JMS, JDBC
JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT
Extensive experience in creating complex mappings, including UDFs and advanced transformations.
Experience with synchronous & asynchronous interfaces and PIT test tool
Experience using security authorisation methods such as oAuth, API Key, JWT and Certificates
Good understanding of retail related processes and SAP IS Retail
Experience working with Kanban WoW and agile principles
Coordination of complex technical deployment of new/enhanced SAP solutions into the Production environment
Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities
Proven ability in relationship-building and influencing skills
Experience working with business stakeholders at all levels across the business
Effective communication skills, including verbal
Nice to have
End to end experience of complex migration from SAP PO to BTP
Transport Express (AC) experience
Experience with SAP Fiori
Understanding of S/4HANA, cloud integration tools and AWS cloud
