At Atom bank, Technology is at our core, powering a world-leading, app-based banking experience. Our Business Analysis function is the crucial bridge between business and technology, tasked with translating complex regulatory requirements into tangible business and technical solutions. If you’re passionate about owning change end-to-end and thrive in a dynamic environment, this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing:
Strategic Problem Solving: Define, scope, and investigate business problems and opportunities, ensuring alignment with Atom’s strategic pillars.
End-to-End Change Ownership: Lead the entire project lifecycle, from rigorous requirements gathering and process definition to full end-to-end traceability and implementation.
Regulatory Translation: Crucially, you’ll interpret and transform complex financial regulatory standards (e.g., Basel II/III, IRB) into clear business and technical change requirements.
Solution Design & Governance: Work closely with architecture to validate solution designs, facilitate process design, and ensure adherence to robust standards, policies, and frameworks.
Agile Delivery: Drive decision-making within an Agile environment, contributing to the feature backlog and supporting efficient planning.
What do we need from you?
Proven experience as a Business Analyst specifically within the banking sector.
Strong practical knowledge of financial regulatory standards, including Basel II/III and IRB.
Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and drive decision-making.
A highly analytical, critical thinker, and natural problem-solver.
Strong understanding of Business Analysis tools and best practices.
Exposure to data analysis, data management, data modelling, and data visualisation, including SQL and Tableau.
