Systems Development Engineer - AWS - On-site
Join the AWS AI/ML team and help build and run some of the most advanced cloud-based AI/ML services, including SageMaker, Bedrock, and Amazon Q. You’ll work in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment, tackling large-scale engineering challenges and helping customers succeed with cutting-edge cloud technologies.

What You’ll Do:
Automate and improve AWS infrastructure.
Develop, deploy, and operate cloud-based systems.
Analyze trends and metrics to optimize performance.
Troubleshoot technical issues and create long-term fixes.
Mentor teammates and contribute to team growth.
Day-to-Day:
Investigate system or customer issues.
Brainstorm solutions with experienced engineers.
Automate operations and improve internal tools.
Continuously innovate and improve services.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
Strong grasp of networking, storage, and OS concepts.
Experience in systems automation and large-scale infrastructure.
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, C++, Go).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with system design and architecture.
Familiarity with AWS services and DevOps practices.
Experience with distributed systems and CI/CD pipelines.
