With Intelligence is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Lead to join our dynamic engineering team. This role will provide the opportunity to contribute and grow from two perspectives:
you’ll express Tech leadership as a lead dev based in one of our four cross-functional teams, helping the team deliver their sprints and taking on the implementation of new and challenging parts of the product.
you’ll express Chapter leadership across the four cross-functional teams, driving best-practice development, establishing and monitoring performance and reliability metrics, and ensuring multiple teams are empowered to work across a unified codebase without conflicts and regressions etc.
As the Frontend Lead, you will be responsible for motivating our frontend developers in designing and implementing high-quality web applications and interfaces. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver outstanding user experiences.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide the growth of the frontend team while staying hands-on with coding and technical decision-making. You will be working in an agile environment, using modern frontend technologies and frameworks.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage frontend developers across multiple cross functional teams, providing guidance and support on technical challenges.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate in the architecture, design, and implementation of complex web applications and interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
Maintain high coding standards, code quality, and best practices within the teams.
Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure smooth integration and efficient communication between frontend and backend systems.
Drive continuous improvement in frontend development processes, tools, and technologies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
Proven experience as a frontend developer, with a strong understanding of frontend technologies and architectures.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of frontend developers, and/or cross functional teams/chapters.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and React. (experience in NextJS and Apollo GQL beneficial)
Extensive knowledge of frontend build tools, package managers, and version control systems (Webpack, NPM/Yarn, Git, etc.).
Experience with frontend testing frameworks and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and management abilities.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
