Description
Hybrid requirements: This role has flexible working patterns.
As a Product Manager, you will take full ownership of a key area of the product road-map. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, conduct market research, and oversee customer feedback. Your role will be crucial in preparing product documentation and ensuring products deliver meaningful value and commercial success. Collaborating with Design and Engineering, you will play a key role in shaping the customer experience by championing user needs and making data-driven decisions.
Manage the product roadmap to align with strategic goals and timelines, leveraging data to inform decisions.
Track progress and deadlines, identifying and resolving impediments to ensure timely product delivery.
Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between development, product, marketing, sales, and customer support teams.
Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and training materials.
Act as the main point of contact for your product area, providing regular status updates through reports, presentations, and demos to stakeholders.
Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities through research, data analysis, and feedback, translating insights into actionable steps.
Stay informed and develop expertise in the education sector, ensuring products continue to meet the evolving needs of educators and students.
Skills and experience required:
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to focus on both product outcomes and execution.
Good general understanding of how large-scale software systems are designed, built, tested, and deployed.
Experience working in the engineering organization of a product company using common Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
Strong understanding of delivery and go-to-market methods and metrics.
Familiarity with the roles of product managers, product designers, engineers, quality assurance, DevOps, and product marketers.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and balance differing perspectives.
This is a hybrid role based out of the Vantage Head Office (Renaissance Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG) with some travel to other offices as required.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience.
