ABOUT THE ROLE
Goodlord’s mission is to provide the best renting experience in the world and we’re on the
hunt for a Business Systems Lead, reporting directly to the CTO, to help us achieve this.
The Business Systems team plays a crucial role in supporting the workflow of internal teams
by administering, automating, and optimising the tools they use, such as Salesforce,
Hubspot, etc. As Business Systems Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of
the Business Systems team, balancing hands-on technical work (40%) with leadership and
management duties (60%). You will play a critical role in aligning the team’s objectives with
the company’s broader goals, and will help drive improvements in internal systems that
ultimately enhance our service and operational efficiency.
No two days are ever the same at Goodlord so what you’ll be up to will vary. The pace we
move at also means priorities will change and you’ll need to be comfortable with this (we’ll
support you!). But these are the things that will be core to your role and will keep you busy.
The day to day stuff:
Lead and manage a team of 4-5 Business Systems Analysts, balancing technical delivery with team development.
Lead the execution of both small-scale tasks (e.g., user management, troubleshooting) and large-scale projects (e.g., building a customer portal).
Ensure smooth functioning of business systems workflows across multiple departments.
Drive continuous improvement within the Business Systems team, focusing on process enhancement and operational efficiency.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the company to align systems strategies with business objectives.
Actively support the recruitment, training, and development of team members to build a high-performance culture.
