Expanding new features for our existing mobile app built using Kotlin Multiplatform, including some Swift for iOS specific features.
Maintaining and improving performance of our existing mobile app.
Work with our back-end focused CTO and our UI/UX designer to deliver an intuitive App.
Collaborate with our server engineer to ensure seamless backend integration.
Work with our dedicated service designer to create an intuitive user interaction experience by applying User-Centered Design (UCD) principles.
Create smooth, performant, and user-friendly interactions that meet the high standards of a native app experience.
Contribute to architecture design for new features.
Take initiative and make decisions in a small team environment.
Contribute to big design choices affecting the entire system.
Work directly with Design and Business Development team and customers to design features.
Maintain and improve core product reliability and UI/UX.
5+ years of experience in mobile app development.
Kotlin/Android or Swift/iOS - Kotlin Multiplatform is even batter.
Experience with Push/Local Notification, Background Task/Service, data communication via HTTP/REST, SQLite Database and File Storage.
Professional experience with some of DevOps, VoIP.
Built responsive, real-time mobile apps from scratch that aren’t just CRUD.
Demonstrated ability to pick up new stuff quickly.
Happy to speak to Design and Business Development team and develop features.
Worked in a similar fast-paced environment (startups, big tech, hedge funds, fintech).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage their time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
You’ll be expected to be largely self-sufficient while the team is small. You’ll need to take the initiative, make smaller decisions and propose a course of action rather than expecting work to be fed to you.
You’ll be contributing to big design choices that affect the entire system and working directly with our sales team and customers to design features.
In return, we’ll support you in making those decisions. We’re small enough to be open-minded about tech.
We care most about UX and core product reliability, although we’ve not always been able to meet that goal (especially around UX), while looking to ship non-core features more quickly.
