Description
Renaissance Global are looking for an junior BI developer with analytical skills and a genuine passion for technology and data to work within our Commercial Operations Team. The work will be a mixture of extending and supporting existing systems as well as some involvement with greenfield data-centric projects in line with our long-term vision. The work aligns with multiple business streams like Operations, Sales, Finance as well as other business functions that are associated with our business priorities.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a BI Developer, comfortable working in a technical environment with a variety of technologies and integration techniques. The successful candidate will take part in building the Data Analytics roadmap within the Commercial Operations team and build relationships with stakeholders across the business to assist in driving the strategy with tangible outputs. The role requires you to be passionate about data and will offer the right candidate a real opportunity for growth and development.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop data models and visualizations to aid in the analysis and interpretation of data.
Collaborating with various teams within the organisation to identify and define the necessary data requirements.
Support and facilitate business changes in all areas of commercial data
Maintain and develop new automations that can effectively facilitate key business processes.
Supporting various business projects and initiatives by applying statistical rigour to the conclusions drawn
Constantly striving to enhance and update our commercial data to facilitate global growth
Develop and maintain documentation including guides and process flows as required
Skills and Education Required:
Strong SQL skills : Coding Stored Procedure, Functions, Scripts with SQL Server and performance tuning of queries.
Good understanding of data modelling using facts and dimensions
Experience implementing reporting using tools using data visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI.
Experience creating and implementing ETL pipelines.
Understand complex solutions and break down complex business requirements.
Version control experience using various tools e.g. Git
Notions of Data Modelling e.g. Schemas
Practical knowledge of DAX and M code
Familiarity with Agile methodology for data governance, code reviews and validation
Exposure to CRM/ERP systems both from the front and backend
Excellent organisational, planning, time management and project management skills
Able to quickly assimilate extensive product and market knowledge
Ability to instil a high level of credibility and build strong internal working relationships
A positive outlook with desire to learn and embrace new concepts and ways of working
