The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our IT capabilities and business objectives, ensuring that our technology systems effectively support our operational and strategic goals. This role involves analysing business needs, documenting requirements, and implementing technology solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. The Technical Business Analyst will play a key role in system design, testing, and deployment, working closely with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
Working with the Technical Business Analyst will play an active role in supporting projects, change programmes, and ultimately delivery. The post-holder will:
Requirements Gathering: Conduct meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications.
System Analysis and Design: Analyse current systems and processes to identify improvements. Design or modify systems to meet business objectives, while ensuring compatibility with existing solutions.
Project Management: Lead or participate in technology projects, from planning through to implementation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business needs.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the liaison between business units and IT, ensuring clear communication of requirements, timelines, and potential issues.
Training and Support: Develop and deliver training materials for users on new systems and features. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Create reports and dashboards for management.
Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure solutions comply with industry standards and company policies. Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in systems analysis.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
Strong understanding of business processes and how technology can enhance these processes.
Experience with ERP systems, CRM software, e-commerce retail, and other business applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
Project management experience and knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
