As a Hardware & Digital Design Engineer, you will thrive on designing Hardware solutions for our customers, essentially electronics solutions – designing electronics around sensors.
You’re a Design Engineer that can assess customer designs or interpret designs to ensure that what they are designing fits into a larger customer system.
We promise interesting work with smart people.
Roke are a leading technology & engineering company with clients spanning National Security, Defence and Industry 4.0 through our Futures business and Intelligence as a Service. You will work alongside our customers to solve their complex and unique challenges.
As our next Hardware & Digital Design Engineer, you’ll also need to be able to troubleshoot circuity and designs using circuit simulation and test equipment. Good communication of design details, current progress and risks with internal and external stakeholders and the project team is important to the role.
The Key Requirements…
Design Experience working with sensing systems
Design of analogue and digital electronics from first principles
Task estimation & technical leadership
Development and analysis of existing circuit designs
Lab testing for design debugging and performance validation
Built over a 60-year heritage, Roke offers specialist knowledge in sensors, communications, cyber, and AI and ML.
