Description
Our client, a tech company is seeking a skilled and experienced mobile app developer to bring an app prototype to life. This is a full-time, long-term contract role with the expectation of completing the initial project within the next 2-3 months. The developer will be responsible for developing and implementing the app for both iOS and Android platforms. While the role is predominantly remote, there may be occasional requirements for the developer to be physically present at the company’s location in London.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the project team to understand the app’s requirements and specifications
Develop and implement the app’s front-end and back-end components for iOS and Android platforms
Ensure seamless integration of the app with existing systems and databases
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance and user experience
Implement security measures and data protection protocols
Maintain and update the app as needed, addressing bug fixes and feature enhancements
Requirements
Proven experience as a full-stack mobile app developer with a strong portfolio
Proficiency in iOS development (Swift/Objective-C) and Android development (Java/Kotlin)
Familiarity with modern app development frameworks and tools (e.g., React Native, Flutter)
Expertise in RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services
Knowledge of mobile app design principles, UX/UI best practices, and responsive design
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
