Reporting directly to ITRS Global Head of IT, Risk and Security, the IT Global Infrastructure Manager is responsible ITRS on-premises Infrastructure, Global network, Data Centres, Cloud Infrastructure and Applications, providing leadership and strategic direction for the departments and liaising with all staff and clients to implement appropriate IT infrastructure balanced against regulation requirements, risks, and cost.
As part of the IT global senior management team, you will lead a global team of Infrastructure Technicians, ensuring that efficient and high-quality IT services and projects are delivered to support the continued growth of our organisation.
Ensure the efficient delivery of our global IT Infrastructure, including security, Data Centres, infrastructure services, on-premises and cloud, external 3rd party infrastructure suppliers, (such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google Cloud, OVH) comprising their development or purchase, implementation, maintenance and improvement to meet required our needs with service improvement and value for money.
You will work with all areas of our company to understand our requirements, prioritise resources and oversee the completion of infrastructure, software, and data projects. By guiding strategic development of all supported platforms and services, you’ll ensure they are available and fit for purpose to meet our needs as we scale our business.
As a Global IT Infrastructure Manager, you will:
Provide line management for the Global infrastructure staff.
Lead the strategy, scalability, innovation, and best practices for local and global infrastructure solutions with service improvement reviews and guide improving and tuning infrastructure services delivered.
Directly contribute to ITRS Group’s goal for achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 accreditation across the group.
Be responsible for Problem management and helping in finding solutions.
Integrate future acquisitions into the existing ITRS Group Infrastructure, systems, and processes
Identity and Access Management (IAM) for infrastructure.
Monitor and Event management for infrastructure
Ensure the compliance of all systems with security, data retention, legal and regulatory policies such as GDPR
Responsible for the global network and infrastructure of ITRS internal IT systems, including Microsoft 365 (for email and SharePoint), Comms, phone system and applications.
Ensure training for the team and knowledge transfer across the IT Department for concluded projects and commissioned systems.
Assist with the IT Infrastructure Governance, Risk & Vulnerability Management
Implement monitoring and improvement activities to ensure infrastructure governance and compliance with both internal policies and regulations.
Assist with clients and internal departments on IT infrastructure security, governance, and Risk controls.
Assist with Vendor vetting and risk management.
Member of IT Risk and Vulnerability Committee
Member of the BCP Committee and responsible for the Development, testing and execution of ITRS IT infrastructure BCP requirements.
Assist with IT financial costs including invoice approval, costing, managing and report on IT resources and budgets.
Review and report on ITRS Infrastructure SLA and status.
Recommend and implement necessary IT Infrastructure policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Responsible for all IT required backups
Assist with internal and client IT infrastructure security questions and audits.
You will have:
5+ years Hands-on experience of team management of infrastructure solutions, coming from a technical background and gaining experience in Infrastructure solutions
10+ years’ experience managing global HCI solutions
8+ years’ experience working in a project oriented and time sensitive IT & Security environments
8+ years of managing high availability, DR\BCP and backup solutions
8+ years of managing Patch management and End Point protection solutions
8+ years of managing Firewalls and Global Network Infrastructure
8+ years of managing Internal and External Data Centres
8+ years management of infrastructure incident, problem, capacity, lifecycle and change management
Experience of Azure infrastructure and applications
An understanding of Databases and SQL clusters
Experience working in a governance framework environment
The ability to document systems, practices, and workflows
Knowledge of IT Governance, Risk & Compliance processes.
Broad knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR
Experience of BCP management and overview
Good understanding of ITIL
