Requirements of a Lift Service Engineer:

Industry-recognised qualification NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Essential

Full, clean UK driving licence Essential

Minimum of 3 years experience in lift service or repair Essential

Strong technical knowledge of various lift manufacturers and systems.

Confident in managing a service route of around 5060 units in the Southampton area.

Currently living a commutable distance from Southampton or the surrounding areas Essential

We are seeking a Test & Validation Engineer to join a leading technology company specialising in advanced electro-optical systems in Andover, Hampshire. In this role, you will ensure that systems meet stringent quality and performance standards through comprehensive testing and validation. You will play a key part in acceptance testing, fault diagnosis and supporting customer demonstrations both in the UK and internationally. This is a full-time office based role offering a salary of £38,000 and you will need to be eligible for UK Security Clearance.Responsibilities of this Test & Validation Engineer role:

Perform test and validation of complex electro-optical systems.

Conduct acceptance testing of deliverable systems prior to customer delivery.

Diagnose, report, and assist in resolving hardware faults at system and PCB level.

Provide technical support for system demonstrations and customer enquiries.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

Occasional travel to customer sites in the UK and overseas.
