Conduct system-level testing and fault finding on electronic and RF equipment.
Perform RF testing and troubleshooting of amplifiers, circuits, and subsystems.
Interpret and work from electronic schematics to identify and repair complex system faults.
Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, network analysers, and signal generators.
Document test results, faults, and corrective actions in detailed reports.
Maintain the company ethos of “Zero defects - remember why,” ensuring all customer requirements are met.
Requirements of the Test Engineer - Electronics & RF (based in Herefordshire):
Proven experience in electronics fault finding.
Strong understanding of electronic schematics and circuit design.
Experience with RF testing and RF-related components (e.G. Amplifiers, filters, etc.).
Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, and signal generators.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical reports.
Enthusiastic and passionate about electronics and RF technology.
Must have settled status in the UK and be able to pass BPSS clearance.
Computer literate and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Background or degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
Experience in quality, test or validation engineering.
Knowledge of mechanical testing, rig design and data capture.
Practical problem solver, comfortable with CAD and hands-on engineering tools.
Experience working with global manufacturing partners and managing supplier quality.
Motivated by precision, reliability and continually improving product performance.
Knowledge of or enthusiasm for manufacturing processes such as forging, stamping, machining, welding, extrusion and HF welding.
