Pay: £340 - £385Location: RemoteJob Description:A leading British bank with a global presence is seeking F5 Migration Engineers.Project Overview:The objective of this project is to migrate a total of 188 F5 VE (Virtual Edition) Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Web Application Firewall (WAF) devices to the newer F5 rSeries tenant architecture. This migration comes as a result of the current virtualised platform, Cisco’s Cloud Services Platform (CSP), reaching its end of life and necessitating a transition to a more modern solution.Current and Target Platforms:At present, the Legacy CSP virtualisation platforms, along with the new F5 r5900 and r10900 models, are integrated with an Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) fabric. The newly introduced F5 rSeries appliances have been built in parallel to the existing environment, ensuring a seamless transition process.Migration Approach:The applications running on the existing F5 VE devices will be migrated to the rSeries tenants on a like-for-like basis.
