Job Description

Were looking for a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site in West Sussex!

Youll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of production equipment. Youll play a key part in keeping the factory running efficiently, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring all machinery operates safely and reliably.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position with opportunities for training and career development.

What youll be doing

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
• Maintain and repair machinery including plastic extrusion lines, cooling and haul-off systems, cutting and punching machines, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, PLCs, and other manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose faults and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues quickly and safely
• Support new machinery installations, upgrades, and commissioning projects
• Minimise downtime and ensure all equipment runs safely and reliably
• Keep accurate service records and report maintenance activities
• Work closely with the engineering team to improve efficiency and reliability

Monday-Friday, 11:30am-8:00pm

£43,000 per annum

Skills/Experience Required

• Minimum 12 months maintenance experience within a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment
