Whats essential.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in an IT discipline.
  • Experienced in the Microsoft Dynamics space.
  • Skilled in transforming a business into data-driven customer-centric organisation.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and other CRM platforms would be advantageous.
  • Alignment of CRM architecture against enterprise standards and principles.
  • Experience in Dynamics Contact Centre is highly desirable for this post.

Location.

The location for this role is 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham, B16 3SD with at least 2 days a week spent in the office.

Your Mission

The role:

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Developer to contribute to a key strategic platform, supporting the design, development, and enhancement of new system solutions. You will join a team responsible for supporting the current production platform, resolving live system issues, and delivering new enhancements and work packages. These involve a blend of bespoke development, workflow configuration, and system customisation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dynamics 365 CRM development and customisation. Experience with Power Pages or Power Portals -particularly the delivery of tailored portal solutions for a range of clients - would be highly advantageous, though not essential.

A solid technical understanding of interface development and the design of new application integrations is also required.

The team follows a Scrum Agile methodology, working in sprints that form regular release cycles, typically deploying new functionality every four weeks. You will be joining an established group of around ten developers, alongside a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Testers.

Candidates must have hands-on experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365, and ideally with Microsoft Power Pages. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to lead technical and functional discussions with internal stakeholders on new requirements and enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and 3rd line support of custom Dynamics CRM solutions using Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement,
  • Customisation of D365 module components such as Power Pages and power automate and cloud flows
  • Troubleshoot and resolution of software bugs, data, and system configuration issues.

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Development and delivery of Dynamics 365 and Power Pages
  • CRM customisation using JavaScript
  • Capable of dealing directly with business users; working alongside testers to ensure that CAA software quality standards are met.
  • Ability to determine and suggest most appropriate way to deliver requirements using the combination of features, code and tools in D365 and associated applications
  • Knowledge of the D365 product suite and a thirst to maintain that knowledge

Desirable skills:

  • Microsoft Power Pages and Power Automate
  • CRM extension through C# .Net development
  • Experience of DevOps, Agile and the concepts of CI/CD Familiarity with ITIL concepts
  • Knowledge and experience with D365 latest product offerings

About the role

As our CRM Builder & Administrator, youll play a key role in keeping our CRM activity running smoothly and effectively. Youll take ownership of email deliverability, domain reputation and the technical build behind our customer journeys. Youll also support the wider team with data, insight and day-to-day Salesforce needs, helping us deliver relevant, personalised and reliable communications to our customers.

In this role, you will:

  • Keep a close eye on deliverability, inbox placement and domain reputation, highlighting anything unusual.
  • Build detailed audience selections and data points to support dynamic personalisation.
  • Ensure were following best practice and put plans in place to protect our reputation if issues arise.
  • Support automated, always-on programmes with journey setup and ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage campaign insights from start to finish, including counts, selections, analysis and recommendations.
  • Build customer journeys in Salesforce, including data extensions, dynamic content, testing and scheduling.
  • Act as a Salesforce admin, helping users troubleshoot issues, training new starters and delivering system improvements.
  • Spot technical opportunities that improve efficiency and keep the system healthy.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure automations are always running smoothly.
  • Build, deploy and monitor all journeys, making sure sends reach the end customer.
  • Support CRM users with Salesforce-related queries and manage any escalations with Salesforce directly.
  • Work closely with Customer Insights, Customer Services and MarTech teams to deliver aligned CRM activity.
  • Set up campaign holdouts so reporting remains reliable and meaningful.
  • Manage relationships with third-party partners including Salesforce, Optima and Validity.
  • Stay connected to industry trends and apply best practice that protects and improves our brand reputation.

About You

Youll bring:

  • Experience in multichannel CRM marketing
