TECH-AGNOSTIC ROLE
The Technical Support Engineer will provide PLM process and Siemens Teamcenter support for UK defence programmes, including configuration, deployment, testing, and system enhancements (Active Workspace and Desktop). The role includes delivering end-user training, providing L1-L3 support, managing access and configuration, maintaining dashboards and documentation, analysing compliance data, and identifying risks with mitigation support.Job Title: Technical Support Engineer Location: Yeovil OR Bristol Duration: 12 Months Clearance: SC RequiredResponsibilities
Support the planning and deployment of Siemens Teamcenter Product Data Management System.
Deliver Training of Siemens Teamcenter Product Data Management System to end users and stakeholders.
Support the implementation of standardised PLM system and process throughout the organisation.
Provide access control and user account administration (role-based access and audits).
Operate L1-L3 Support:
L1: Service desk - access requests, ticket triage and initial troubleshooting
L2: Teamcenter PLM Engineer - system training delivery, issue resolution, integration error investigation, and process queries
L3: Escalation to platform vendors or infrastructure teams as required
Coordinate and implement system configuration changes and capability enhancements; conduct testing, verification and validation of PLM functionality
Develop, maintain and publish system reporting and programme dashboards
Maintain Teamcenter related user documentation and web content to support internal customers
Identify risks, issues and opportunities and support the development of mitigation plans.
Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):
Skilled in the use of Siemens Teamcenter, in both Active Workspace and the Desk Top Application.
Good knowledge of PLM and Design principles and processes.
Experience in or support of configuration & data management, design, test and manufacturing procedures.
Good interpersonal, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
Able to establish effective internal networks.
High attention to detail and quality.
Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and electronic - across all levels.
Ability to plan and deliver own workload.
