Our Edinburgh based client are looking to onboard an additional Network Engineer to support a new project over a rolling 6 month contract period. You will be supporting the existing network team to handle a high volume of changes and configuration work, ensuring secure, reliable connectivity across complex enterprise environments. The position is hands-on and technically focused, requiring strong expertise in core networking technologies and security platforms.
This is an initial 6 month contract working hybrid in the Edinburgh office 2-3 days per week. Thus, candidates must be within a commutable distance to Edinburgh. This role will also be INSIDE IR35 for reference.

Senior Network Engineer (DV Cleared or DV Eligible)
Rate: £560 per day (Inside IR35), plus on call allowances

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a highly secure programme within a defence/national security environment. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will provide technical leadership across enterprise networking and security, operating within high-assurance, air-gapped environments.
You will act as a senior escalation point, supporting complex incidents, contributing to secure network design, and ensuring the ongoing stability and compliance of critical infrastructure.
